He had a wife; she had a fiancé in 1999. But the two had to make the best of their situation. They were invited to live in Brian's ancestors' home. As the weeks went by, the two adapted to living in the 1800s and started to build a life together. The Civil War was over, and the country was growing. They were now part of it.

But destiny had other plans for them. It all started as a frightening experience, became an adventure, then a curse, and even heartbreaking at times. If given a choice, do they want to return to their financially successful lives and go on with their 1990s partners as if their time travel never happened? Or will the love they now have for one another change their desire to go back to 1999? Or had Fate already decided?

Readers' Advisory: THE FOREVER COTTAGE is the first novel in a four-part family saga. While this story has an ending, there are other parts that are not resolved. Book 2, THE SECRET, starts where THE FOREVER COTTAGE leaves off. (It was originally one very long novel.) All storylines are tied up in ways you won't expect. THE TRIPLETS, Book 3, is a brand new, stand-alone story, but most of the characters are from the first two books. So, you need to know the history to enjoy it fully.
