Description
Nazi Germany needs to turn the tide of the war; and Heinrich Himmler plans to use Hitler's wonder weapons to achieve it. Ahron Roth, captain of submarine U-931, is ordered by Himmler to transport two members of the SS to the coast of America, where they will deploy a nuclear device.
Roth, born in Germany, but raised in America and once a true believer in the Nazi ideology, is now questioning the morals of both his country of birth, and of himself; especially now as he's found love, in the arms of a young French girl, Ginette.
The Atlantic crossing is full of dangers, from both air and sea and Roth must somehow outwit a determined Admiral Sullivan RN who has a score to settle, and is looking for the sub. As the mission unfolds with an unexpected twist, Roth begins to distrust the dangerous SS Major Fuchs, and must devise a plan to save the lives of his loyal crew, as he is suddenly and unwillingly drawn deeper into the plot.
As U931 races across the treacherous ocean, three more U-boats get into position off the Eastern seaboard, in the second phase of the attack, unaware that allied intelligence agencies are also tracking the elusive subs' movements. And yet, the allies do not know of the devastating nature of the secret operation and the 'Attack on America.'
