Ash
During Rebel's recovery, I spent a lot of time handling our businesses, including the bar, where the enigmatic waitress, Marnie, twisted me in knots. I've never seen myself with an old lady, although I love what Holly's presence has brought to Rebel and the club. Her grandparents pretty much adopted the rest of us, and those two little girls are something else. Not only that, but now that our president and his wife are expecting a son, it has me thinking about my own future because I want what those two have for myself.
The only issue is, Marnie is resistant to every one of my charms and it's driving me crazy. I suspect there's something in her past that prevents her from pursuing anything with me based on the look I see in her eyes whenever I catch her gazing at me. As we approach Halloween and excitement mounts for the birth of our next generation, I pull out all the stops to make her mine.

I can't deny that Ash is attractive and if the circumstances were different, I'd say yes to him. But I can't. Decisions made several years ago, when I was younger and dumber, mean I'm not free to choose him or anyone else. I just pray that my past doesn't come back to haunt me, because the life I've rebuilt from the ground up is one I don't want to lose.
Slowly, without me even realizing it, I'm pulled deeper into the workings of the club who employs me since Holly and I have become best friends. Still, instead of seeking help from them, I try to do things on my own, despite Ash's best efforts. I just wish things were different sometimes, but my lot has been cast and there's no way to escape, much like a haunted house. Every turn has a new fright, and as terror begins to seep into this new life of mine, I find myself holding out for a hero. One who rides a steel horse.
