Richard Warrington is a normal family man. He loves his family, he works hard, and has a wife he adores. After a turbulent start in life, especially during his teens, Richard has managed to become a straightforward man nearing his fifties with 2.4 children, and a happy home.

However, after his teenage son has an incident with the son of the local gangster of the town, things turn out for the worse and Richard has to do everything to protect his family, especially his son.
