Description
It's 1905. At 221B Baker Street, Holmes and Watson are hosting several instrumentalists, including flautist Becky Moskowitz, Watson's flame. She tells him of a new organization called the British Brothers League, who are virulently anti-Semitic and anti-immigrant. Their slogan -- 'England for the English'! A telephone call comes for Becky... A male body was found in Whitechapel, an immigrant slum. The corpse has been drained of all its blood. Rumors fly: It's the return of Jack the Ripper, say some. No, insist others. It's the work of the Jews and his blood drained to bake matzoh. Terrified of a pogrom, Becky wants Holmes and Watson to investigate.
Thus begins the tale of Sherlock Holmes and the Whitechapel Plot, which leads the two into a complex maze of mystery and murder, and to a man with a terrible secret in his past.
