Description
Who Goes There? by John W. Campbell Jr., is a classic science fiction horror novella set in a remote Antarctic research station, where a team of scientists discovers a buried alien spacecraft and unearths a terrifying, shape-shifting creature frozen in the ice. When it thaws, the creature reveals that it can perfectly imitate any living thing. This leads to suspicion, mistrust, and fear because no one knows for sure who among them is still human. The men struggle to eliminate the alien before it escapes the outpost and poses a threat to the entire world, as suspicion grows and alliances break down. The story explores themes of identity, survival, and the fragility of human trust in extreme circumstances by combining science, suspense, and psychological terror.
