We have walked through the same flames and have been through many of the same challenges we thought we would never win. Embedded in our crowns are jewels of lessons, strength, determination and freedom!
We have escaped abusive marriages and relationships, lost children to illness and domestic violence, and suffered from mental illness, substance abuse and childhood traumas. We have lost our way, stared death in the face, been raped, beat down, abandoned and we have hit... rock... bottom, time after time. Some of the jewels in our crowns may be a little tarnished and dull, but our fire is brighter and cannot be extinguished! We have clawed and fought our way through unthinkable odds, spent too many days in tears and exhaustion, loved and lost, and forgiven the unforgivable. But... we have also learned to pray, persevere, manifest and speak life into our situations, our families and communities!
Also living inside the pages of this book are many valuable resources that can transform, inspire or even save the life of a woman you know and love, or even you. May you find your voice and your value in all the love we have poured into this project. We will not and cannot be silent or silenced, and our fire will not be extinguished!
