Description
"If a novel includes decades-old unsolved murders, I'm immediately hooked. If you throw in a true crime aficionado investigating those crimes, well then, I know what I'm doing that weekend! Keeley Webb's excellent novel, Killer Content, contains both, and you should definitely give it a read. You won't regret it!" - Brian O'Sullivan, author of The Bartender and The Photo Album
A crime content creator.
An anonymous follower.
Two threatening letters.
Six thirty-year-old unsolved murders.
A small village that holds many secrets.
In the summer of 1995, the peaceful, quiet rural village of Culverton changed forever. What started out as a horrifying, seemingly random murder of Lillian Anderson in her own home, with her husband sitting drugged and unable to help her, became a sudden six-month killing spree that targeted elderly residents within their own homes.
Six victims were brutally slain, each with a different weapon from within their own homes and each in a different way. Was this the work of one killer? The police in 1995 couldn't solve the crimes, and just as soon as the killings started, the murders randomly stopped in December 1995 with their last known victim.
In 2025, Billie Wiley, a 23-year-old crime content creator, was making a living covering solved cases and critiquing the police's many mistakes. Although she had moved out of the area, Billie had been born and raised in Culverton. After the first anniversary of her TikTok profile, Killer Content, an anonymous commenter began to hound her with a request to cover and finally solve the Culverton killings.
After two threatening letters arrive at her parents' home addressed to her, Billie has no choice but to investigate and beg the police to reopen these cases. Is the killer just preparing to make her another victim, or will Billie uncover their identity and finally bring closure to these thirty-year-old cases?
