I have just started to get into the rhythm of a new life when another pile of problems landed on my plate.

On one side there is the Department, full of new assignments, new portals, and the same deadly spirits lurking inside them. My Planewalker career is slowly taking off, and it keeps demanding more of me, but that is the price of progress.

On the other side are the private contractors with their endless troubles, and for some reason, nobody else can get them what they want but me.

Then, out of nowhere, a few assassins show up. Apparently, I have managed to upset someone, though I still have no idea what crime I am supposed to have committed.

Things are not going any smoother in the romance department either, and that part worries me more than any portal or evil spirit ever could. Still, worrying is not my style. It is time to remind everyone who Silvian Crass is.
