Description
When Desiree and her 11-year-old daughter, Maya, move into a sleek new high-rise apartment in Charlotte, North Carolina, they are hoping for a fresh start. Desiree's boyfriend, Jayden, plans to spend his weekends helping them unpack and settle in. However, after the very first night, he realizes something is seriously wrong.
He catches Desiree sleepwalking in unsettling ways -- she acts out her dreams, sometimes violently, and scrawls the same mysterious number combination on the walls and mirrors of the apartment. But when she wakes up, she has no memory of what happened.
Things become even stranger when Maya begins wearing an heirloom necklace, gifted by her late grandmother, that seems to alter her behavior and grant her chilling glimpses of the future.
As Desiree's sleepwalking episodes escalate and her unconscious actions grow more unpredictable, Jayden finds himself drawn into a baffling mystery, and the only clue he has to help solve it lies in the vague descriptions from a recurring dream that Desiree continues to experience. What does the sequence of numbers mean? Is the necklace to blame for Maya's odd behavior? Is Desiree being truthful about what she knows or remembers?
To protect the woman he loves and the child caught in the middle, Jayden must unravel the truth behind the numbers, the dreams, and the necklace before time runs out... and nightmares become reality.
