Imari
I always dreamed of traveling the universe, meeting new alien life, and using my skills to advance Earth's biotech so that we might help more species rise above the ailments of their homeworlds. I never expected my humanitarian missions to lead me to a gifted, brutish alien named Torius and his special tactics team. Apparently, there is someone in their region of space doing the opposite of me, and it's tearing worlds apart.
On a routine mission, our outreach vessel is attacked, and I'm captured and thrown into an experimental chamber by a crazed organization just to see if my theoretical mutagenics actually work. As my body changes, I'm left in my cell, alone, abandoned on a distant planet to the fate I designed.
Just when my hope has run out, Torius finds me. The brooding alien breaks me free, but his life comes with its own challenges. Getting him to talk to me is the first. Surviving the war against his kind's powerful enemy is the second.
Torius is fractured inside. But what he dreams of, what he can create, and the scorching desire in him that burns for me when we're alone make me fight to find a way to heal him, even if it turns me into something I swore I'd never become.

I was banished before I was born. My mother protected me as long as she could, but I am cursed.
Telepathy is common in Monsorrans. Dihidians are telekinetic. Telegenesis is a skill of gods. Except, none of these things earned me honor in my village on Naffari. I am an abomination, destined to live alone, trusted by only a few others like me, exiled from their worlds as I am.
Some want to use me. Most want me dead. Only a single human cares what is in my heart, but she is as fragile as my mother was. When those who hurt my mother and created me get their hands on Imari, I must return to a place of nightmares to free her.
She is the only one who brings my tattered soul relief. I will destroy anything and anyone in my way if it means having her in my arms again.
They created my monster. Imari just let me out of my cage.
I hope they're ready for my kind of rampage.
