I thought speed dating would be a harmless way to kill an evening. Five minutes of small talk, a couple of polite smiles, and I'd go home with a funny story.

Then he sat down in front of me.

Theo. Dark eyes, cocky grin, broad shoulders that did terrible things to his shirt. He didn't bother with small talk. He leaned in, looked me up and down, and said in a voice like smoke, "I already know how this is going to end. You, flat on your back, begging me for more."

I laughed it off, but he kept showing up after the bell, brushing past me with that infuriating smile, and making comments that should've sounded ridiculous -- except he backed them up with a gaze that promised he meant every word.

It wasn't until later I found out why he came on so strong: Theo isn't just bold, he's a werewolf. And apparently when a wolf decides you're his, no five-minute timer in the world is going to stop him.

I went in expecting a few awkward chats and maybe a drink or two. I left with a man who swears he's going to devour me... and God help me, I think I'm going to let him.
