Harrick Gallow spends a century as the strongest warrior alive, though only the elites know he exists.
He kills dragons when they attack the countryside, defeats necromancer hosts of hundreds of thousands of undead, slaughters beast tides that threaten to swallow the kingdom whole, and saves humanity time and again. He breaks past the impossible Level 99 barrier and reaches Level 105, something long believed to be unattainable.
Recently, he kills the Demon Lord. Except, unlike before, no one has an inkling that the Demon Lord is dead yet.

Worse, trouble has a habit of following him wherever he goes. This time, though, he intends to keep his identity hidden while protecting his loved ones, his neighbors, a dog so loyal it practically leaks devotion, and a cat of unquestionable royalty that has claimed a broken crate as its throne -- and Garrick's shoulder whenever the crate is unavailable.
