Synopsis:
The once prosperous land of Farangor, now torn asunder by vicious war. For the past millennium, the witchbanes have laid bloody siege to the homelands of humanity and witchpyres alike. That is, until the entire witchpyre race was wiped out by a devastating plague. One witchpyre, however, miraculously survived this deadly sickness, and made her home on the outskirts of humanities capital city of Polis, where she has lived for the last one-hundred years.
Physically and mentally scarred from an abusive father, the king of humanities' son stumbles upon this last witchpyre's homestead. After a cautious but pleasant first meeting, the two of them spend more and more time together, and end up discovering a devious plan set in motion by the witch-king Koranis long ago. They find themselves needing to work with each other to put a stop to this terrifying scheme, and in the process, their simple friendship blossoms into a beautiful, romantic courtship as they bond over their past traumas.
