Description
I was hired to sew codpieces for a fake King. I didn't realize I'd be helping three real wolves protect a magical artifact from a dark sorcerer (who is also the funnel cake vendor).
My name is Kat, and I take historical accuracy very seriously. When the local Renaissance Faire hired me to costume the "Royal Court," I was ready for velvet, brocade, and bad British accents. I wasn't ready for the King and his two Knights.
They are the "Ironclad Triad" -- actors so method they practically growl at the patrons. They are huge, they are intense, and they are definitely sleeping together in the Royal Tent.
But things get weird when I catch them sniffing the turkey legs for poison.
It turns out, the Faire is a front. The "Royal Scepter" isn't a prop; it's an ancient relic that keeps a hell-dimension closed. And the guys aren't actors; they are Guardian Wolves sworn to protect it. When a rival cult (disguised as the rival jousting team) tries to steal it during the midday parade, I accidentally grab the scepter to fix a loose jewel.
Now, I'm the only one who can touch it without exploding.
Arthur: The King. A rigid, bossy Alpha who treats me like a damsel in distress, even though I'm the one holding the magic stick.
Lance: The Champion. The flirtatious muscle who looks way too good in chainmail and keeps trying to "guard my body" in the changing tent.
Merlin: The Advisor. The brooding, sharp-tongued strategist who thinks I'm a liability, until he realizes my corset lacing is the only thing holding his sanity together.
We have three days until the Faire ends to flush out the cultists, protect the relic, and stop the hell-dimension from opening behind the port-a-potties. And if we survive? I might just let them knight me in the bedroom.
Fair Maiden of the Pack is a MMMF romance featuring a seamstress with a glue gun, three wolves in tights, and a high-stakes heist happening right in the middle of a turkey leg eating contest.
